The Pool at Bokx 109

It's still not exactly swimsuit weather, but once it is, you may feel compelled to check out the stylish pool deck, complete with private cabanas, at Bokx 109 American Prime, an exceptionally modern steakhouse inside Newton's highway-side Hotel Indigo. On Mondays there's a no-cover, Latin dance night, with a free salsa lesson offered at 7 PM followed by dancing until 11 PM. For those hoping to splash around and catch some rays during the day, Sunday's daytime pool party with DJs, food and drink specials (and a masseuse!) might suit you better (11 AM–6 PM; $40 per person; 617-969-5300).
