Masaharu Morimoto's eponymous Center City East Japanese has started a “Signature Hour” in the upstairs lounge from 5–7 PM, Sunday–Friday, with reduced-priced specialty cocktails and signature sakes ($6), appetizers like spare ribs with pickled vegetables and Kobe spring rolls ($7), shrimp tempura, spicy salmon, or cucumber avocado maki ($6), and desserts like coffee jelly or ice cream for $5 (215-413-9070).
