Surfside Hangs Ten in Glover Park

Slated to open mid-August in a Glover Park storefront painted an arresting bright blue, Surfside will be a casual cafe offering a selection of chicken, steak and fish cooked to order and paired with internationally inspired vegetable and rice preparations, salsas and the like. Customers will order at the butcher-block counter, then take their food to tables in an airy space with exposed brick, a cerulean ceiling, tropical green walls and a beach-scene mural, or up to its rooftop deck. Prices range from $9 to $16 and carryout will be available (2444 Wisconsin Ave. NW).
