Ray's Redux

As we reported last week, chef-owner Michael “Ray” Landrum has moved his wildly successful steakhouse, Ray’s the Steaks, to Clarendon’s Navy League building, adding more moderately priced entrees and a $23.95 weekday prix fixe. A few more details: the new big-windowed corner space re-creates the “we’re not a fancy restaurant” shtick of the original location and features Landrum's signature open kitchen and minimalist decor (black tables, white chairs, art deco fans and sconces). Also, oenophiles should be pleased to hear that wines from his thoughtfully curated list are available for (discounted) retail purchase at the restaurant.

2300 Wilson Blvd., Arlington; 703-841-7297
