Vibrant colors and intricately woven textiles dress up Northern Indian arrival Raw Silk, located in a storefront on Old Town Alexandria's main drag, where moderately priced dishes – made from owners Jasmine and Tarun Chopra’s family recipes – can be ordered à la carte or, during lunch, as part of Thali tasting samplers; an intimate, dimly lit lounge in the back showcases fancy martinis and street food.
