Posting Rules
In order to make the ZAGAT.com discussion boards a welcoming, useful and fun place for everyone, please take a moment to read and understand the rules below.
- Respect each other and each other's opinions. Express yourself without mocking, insulting, using obscenity or posting disparaging remarks about other members or members' comments.
- For your safety, do not post any personal information, such as your real name, your home address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. If you want to connect with another member directly, click on their username to check out their profile page to get in touch.
- To keep discussions flowing and relevant to the topic at hand, please remember to post your comments in the most relevant forum, and start a new topic if the conversation takes a turn in another direction. Please do not post the same message in multiple forums. This disrupts the flow of discussions.
- The ZAGAT.com forums are moderated. We reserve the right to edit or remove any language or images that we deem to be inappropriate, including comments and/or images that are hateful and derogatory to others in the community. Members also have the ability to report suspected violations by clicking on the 'Report this Post' link.
- We will not accept advertising of any kind, particularly from establishment owners and employees.
- Do not misrepresent yourself. Please do not claim to be a ZAGAT.com site administrator or moderator, or pretend to be another member.
- All contributions that are in violation (or suspected violation) of ZAGAT.com's Posting Rules will be denied acceptance or pulled from the site. You will be notified by e-mail with an explanation if your contribution(s) is determined to be in violation of ZAGAT.com's Posting Rules.
- All messages express the views of the Author, and neither Zagat Survey or Telligent Systems (developers of Community Server) will be held responsible for the content of any message on the ZAGAT.com discussion boards.
Please note that all community driven content - including Member Reviews and Discussion Board posts - submitted to ZAGAT.com are moderated. Members who violate our Member Review Guidelines, Posting Rules or the ZAGAT.com Privacy Policy may be removed from the ZAGAT.com community, at our sole discretion.
