Unfortunately for some, Bar Pilar no longer serves comfort food; they have exchanged tater tots for tapas, though for bar food this is incredible. The polenta is incredible, the cheese plate is good, the liquor selection is amazing, and there aren't many places in DC to get a good mint julip. The changes in menu also seemed to bring about a slight change in decor as well- no longer do TV's seem to prattle on with nonsense (though there are stil
