This place offers a great martini list the best I've seen. Although Dbar is seens as a gay bar it is also very straight friendly as well. I am not gay and I would still go because the decor is great, it's local, the drinks are superb and there is no prejudice against being straight or gay here.

i have mixed reviews, i liked it far better when it was a low key irish bar, yet i do like the decor of the newer bar. for those who do not know, it is a predomintantly gay crowd (some people who don't know this ahead of time are thrown off if they go). the service is not at all good, and once i was served the wrong dish and was told that i must have be given an old menu (but everyone at my table had the same menu...) and was not offered the co

it's time may have already passed, but still nice to see gay nightlife branching out into the streetcar suburbs. so THIS is where all the old south enders are!?
