The Piano bar was nice. They have several different piano players. We had the bad fortune of seeing the same one twice- Stu Shames. Stu doesn't so much bang out a tune as he beats the piano into submission until it screams for mercy. Not a pretty sound. In between songs, his caustic attempts at humor range from boring to offensive. But the worst part was his choice of songs. Funereal anti-Vietnam war dittys that just bring down the evening.

Very fun. The pianist (Steve something) played some things I had never heard on a piano (Police, Radiohead) in addition to some songs I might expect (Billy Joel, Elton John). Amazing variety. Kind of empty, but got crowded out of nowhere. He really knows his stuff. Oh. Ask him to do his German version of 99 luftballoons too. Pretty funny, though it didn't really sound German.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! We let go of our inhibitions, sung with the piano player, danced in the cool lounge area and sipped on huge, i mean huge cocktails all night long. I t becomes more crowded the later in the evening. However, the crowd and the piano become one. I would not miss this place!
