Josephine was fantastic for a significant amount of time after opening, which justified the excess door snobbery. Unfortunately, while the initial luster has faded substantially, the attitude at the door remains unchanged. The last couple of times I've been in there, it seemed relatively empty and much less of a "beautiful crowd" for lack of a better phrase. The servers and bartenders, however, are excellent once you get inside.
High class clientele and a beautiful venue, this takes a night on the town to a new level. Great place for a special event like a birthday.
