Call it East Midtown East. Like Nikki Beach but with water taxi service. No reason to go here unless you're with a big crowd of europeans who have nothing better to do on a Thursday night and are too lazy to go to the actual beach.

Best outdoor place in summer. Have a stiff drink before you go.

Not the scale of Astoria's Water Taxi Beach, but a small oasis on quiet and green Governor's Island. The decor is a bit of an afterthought, but a makeshift beach so close to the Financial District (and benefitting from those views) isn't bad.

Amazing option in the summer, to feel like you are getting away from the city and you always get amazing sunsets.

Good food and drinks with a nice view of midtown skyline. Fun place to spend a summer afternoon!
