Last night I had the opportunity to dine in the Cub Room. This was an experience I will treasure for a very long time. The staff was warm and friendly, the atmosphere was cozy but the food was incredible. The presentation rivaled any I have seen, but it was the sheer magic of the flavor that won both myself and my date. It is now clear to me that all the great Chefs are not on t.v. There is a Bright Star rising on Sullivan St. in the Cub Room
Bar area is small but comfortable (living room like). We've had great meals here -- and just so so meals here. Also, I agree the waitstaff could use some manners. There is a definite attitude -- which is why we haven't gone back (and probably won't -- there are plenty of other good choices).
apathetic waiters, bad food that made me sick and slow as time service. I recomend a cold day in hell first!!!
Always a good place to catch a drink with friends.
