The new P+G is much nicer and larger than the previous version. There's now a stage for live music which is a big plus. The atmosphere is friendly and there is seating. There is a kitchen but it wasn't open when I made my last visit. Once the kitchen opens it'll be interesting to see what's served.
Still regaining its traction from having moved locations, this spot is a nice little getaway in the basement of an apartment building. The regulars still stop in, but, not the gawkers or bankers---- which allows for friends to have a drink with one another, not some fellow in loafers. A good place for good friends.
Love the old Evelyn's location, but miss this classic in it's original location.
