Once upon a time, Boardner's used to be that one hole in the wall bar before Hollywood's neighborhood got little more glitzy. Now, it is a grungy bar made to look hip & cool. I'd rather head downtown to find a real hole in the wall bar.

Very cool, semi casual bar. Nice atmosphere for meeting friends after work, and also, great venue out back to hear some live music.

I've only been to this place during their 80's/New Wave/Goth night when I was 18. I don't know why I paid so much to go there because I couldn't drink alcohol and it is a pretty compact space for all those flailing arms and legs from people trying to dance. I went back again last year to see a friend play and it was chill...lots of scene people though.
