Hidden hangout. Good alternative in North Beach from the bridge and tunnel scene.

I love this place. Off the beaten path, good drinks, not pretentious. A little hideaway.

This is still one of SF's hidden gems, still rockin' it speakeasy style in North Beach. The place is undergoing a renovation, which seems promising, and new bar talent is creating amazing drinks.

The amazing jukebox and dark, stylish space are perfect for North Beach, but don't go there on a weekend night if you want to be served quickly. It's best on a week night after eating out.

Tucked away in an alley just off of Broadway and Columbus this trendy bar invites mostly locals looking to get away from the area's tourist traps. Usually a big heavy on the guy factor this place attracts the younger professional types.
