Great place for a group of people. Have a good amount of games it you are looking to have some fun.

Though the main focus of the Albatross is games (from quiz night to darts to board games), they have great live music three or four times a month, and just enough space for a couple of dancers (if you don't mind sidestepping folks going to and from the bar). The monthly gig by the Steve Carter Jazz Trio is not to be missed. A big plus is that their Web site is current and complete.

With board games, darts, a pool table, pub quiz nights and often live bands... this pub is a great spot to bring a group of friends for some cheap fun. You can pay $2 for a refillable bowl of popcorn. Only downside is it is cash only.

Great place to just hang out with friends. Nice selection of local beers. The board games are the best.

Well known busy bar usually crowded and noisy. Been in Berkeley "for ever", almost a Berkeley institution.
