It's a bar - although they have really cleaned the place up over the years and made it feel more cozy.

A cool little bar in the inner richmond with a fireplace to sit next to while you chat with friends. Not stuffy or pretentious. The food is good, and the beers are cold.

If you find yourself at the bitter end of SF in the Richmond, The Bitter End is not a bad choice for a drink. In a neighborhood with a dearth of drinking options, Bitter End provides a relatively quite after-work locale for a pint. There will not be many people there, but the bartender will give you personalized advice.

Great neighborhood pub. Great food for the price, especially their fries! Fun trivia night on Tuesday's, friendly staff, and seriously comfy atmosphere.

I have been to the one on Clement and it is basically a dive bar for the neighborhood. Young crowd, but drinks are cheap and you do not have to wait forever to get a beer.
