I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. From my first stay, I've been impressed with the superb concierge staff in particular. Yes, some rooms may be smaller--but not small by European standards, please note. Immaculate housekeeping, and try for a rate that includes breakfast, because dining alfresco in their lovely courtyard offers a relaxing refuge from the hurly-burly. And cocktails on their roof garden can't be beat at sunset.

Make sure the bring a fan inthe summertime (as the a/c doesn't always work in these older buildings).
