THIS LOCATION IS A MULTI-GENERATIONAL DESTINATION. THERE ARE A VARIETY OF RESTAURANTS TO FIT ANY BUDGET AS WELL AS SUPERMARKETS. THE FEES ARE REASONABLE; HOWEVER THERE ARE ADD ON FEATURES THAT COST XTRA $ WHICH CAN BE ANNOYING TO THE BUDGET. TOURING THE PARK TAKES YOU BACK TO A TIME WHEN LIFE WAS UNCOMPLICATED; THEREFORE YOU RELAX AND STROLL. EXPLANATIONS BY CRAFT PEOPLE, CONVERSATIONS WITH STORYTELLERS WILL EXCITE THE CHILD WITHIN YOU.

Way over priced. Save your money and just visit downtown. The only thing the money will get you is a peek inside the governor mansion. Going to Jamestown and Yorktown are a much better deal.

If you are into authenticity then you will love dining at the colonial taverns in Williamsburg. Kings Arms Tavern is the best. The prime rib is done to perfection, just the way you want it, the corn pudding has a hint of sweetness, and the peanut soup is mouthwatering. There is a history to every dish and the waiter shares them all, as well as, other dining secrets from the past. Dining by candlelight is romantic but don't forget a flashlight!

The best time to visit Williamsburg if you have never been there before is on the 4th of July. The people bring the beinnings of our country to life. The reading of the Declaration of Indepence is moving. The canons booming as you sing national hymns at Burton Parish Church is moving. Stay in the Historical Houses for a feeling of living in that time period.
