I have been to many of the aquarium's on the list. I am not rating any other because no other aquarium even comes close to this. Not only is it in one of the most beautiful places on earth, but the aquarium is more than a place, it is an experience not to be missed.

Only place I know of that you can see a great white shark from time to time. Not to be missed. Note that the aquarium houses only marine life that can be found in and around the Monterey Bay -- no tropical fish here. You won't miss them. Visit during whale season and combine a trip to the aquarium with a whale watching excursion.

An incredible aquarium. The open ocean exhibit is the greatest! The restaurant was a great surprise. Very good food.
