What a great place! The food was very tasty, and ran the gamut of flavors throughout their dishes. The service was attentive without being invasive, and I was very please that they had converted a tipical dish (Lomo a lo pobre) to a vegetarian version for one of our guests.

Cholo's is a cute stylish little downtown eatery featuring Peruvian cuisine. It has sidewalk dining in the summer. Corn and potatoes are highlights of this cuisine. Great ceviche, very good steaks.

I'm fairly new to New Rochelle cuisine but i will say i have been shocked by the quality of food. And Cholo's in no exception. Outstanding, home-cooked quality food! Right down to the soda's and appetizers. I highly reccommend this to anyone in the neighborhood looking for a quaint, authentic place to eat.

Wonderful, fun find on a side street in downtown New Rochelle. Delicous food at great prices. Very helpful wait-staff. Great specials as well.

Cholo's serves the best peruvian that I have eaten anywhere. The restaurant is colorful and casual, the food incredibly flavorful and authentic, and the service is fast and friendly. And, so inexpensive! It is a hidden gem!
