Served white people before us even though we arrived before them. They said the temperature could not be adjusted when we told them it was warm, but when the white couple said it was warm they ran to the thermostat to adjust the temperature. They also got the complimentary chips and salsa before we did. Bad customer service. My friend said the chips and salsa were good. Alero obviously doesn't appreciate minority patronage. Booooo to Alero!

I come here all the time. The chips and salsa are fresh, which is key for a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are great; frozen margs have an odd aftertaste, but after the first one, it's hard to tell. If you like spicy, ask the waiter for the salsa picante. You only need a tiny tiny tiny spoonful to add to the salsa and the flavor lingers. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and always remember me when I come back.

We are from Texas and looking for a good Mexican Restaurant that serves TexMex and we found it. The chips, salsa, and margaritas are great! Tortilla soup is great to order more and bring home extra home for later. We found a place to go when our cravings for TexMex comes again.

A solid, typical "Mexican" restaurant. The Chiles Rellenos were very good, while the beans (NOT refried) and rice were below average. The margaritas, while good, had a slightly odd flavor. The decor was typical. There were several large groups of friends here, and this seems a good place to gather with friends for a casual meal. Service was better than average when compared to most Mexican restaurants I have eaten at.
