Great decor, excellent food, and attentive service combine to make this place a winner. The prix fixe menu is nice, and generally offers good choices. Portions on the smaller side, but a nice change from places that serve way too much food per person. Splurge and get the paired wines with dinner. Always thoughtful pairings and a nice variety of vintners.
Went on a "Pick the entree for $20" promotion. Food was very good, although the 3-oz. fillet with the two asparagus and single potato, on a rather large plate, was not what I wanted after missing lunch, and having cocktails before dinner. Very pretty and tasty, but be prepared to hit Taco Bell after dinner.
Fried green bean appetizer is great. Downhill from there. I don't think they have figured out what they want to be. It is nice, trendy, tiny portions and really expensive for what you get. Perhaps it will find its way with more time.
The food was good, but nothing spetacular. The portions were far too small for the money. My main dish was the Diver Scallop. Yes, singular. One diver scallop. I selected cheese for the dessert course and received three pieces of quarter-sized cheese and a drizzle of honey and two teaspoons of fruit. Four in our party made for a $200 bill and all of us left hungry.
Good food, but too many $$$ for what you get.
