Fun vibe, friendly staff, and an overall hipster paradise make Lodge popular (read crowded), but there is a lot of space, and while it ain't the Champs d'Elysees sitting at the tables on the sidewalk will provide a little quieter meal, and you'll probably see something very strange in this extra weird pocket of the hood. The food is passable, but rarely steals the show.
if you like eggs bene, they have just about every version you can imagine and then some. The 2 for 1 bloody marys aren't bad either!

It's a nice scene... you can even sit out in the traffic and pretend like you're not in the road at the very border where Hipster Williamsburg takes over from Hispanic Billyburg
Awful service. Dull lifeless comfort food. Where's the comfort in that? Tiresome Epcot Center interpretation of the rustic combined with modern. Argh.
prices recently rose through the roof although the portions match. specials tend to be way over priced and don't have the flavors to match. if you need giant food and dull flavors head here.
