The cafe is an old-fashioned neighborhood hangout that is very artist and writer friendly and fosters an atmosphere that's creative and relaxed. You just can't beat that. The more traditional restaurant has a nice patio is okay in the summertime for meeting for drinks. But with the Cafe being such a good place, why go next door?

Food quality is still quite poor. Atmosphere is phony and pretentious. Our dinner server was aggressive and tried to push expensive drinks and food on us throughout the meal. I cannot understand why folks would pay these prices for such mediocre food when there are much better options around.

They've changed EVERYTHING inside and out, decor and menu...redesigned to fit todays economical issues. Now open for breakfast as well. Still offer fresh, green, organic, creative menu and always yummy!

Pleasant. Good place to talk. friendly, helpful staff. A good second choice.
