The food is reliable, and the place is what it is, a Greek, Mediteranian, American Diner. Their Falafel is moist and tasty, and I recommend it. Don't go here for special occasions, and don't look for gourmet anything, but they are consistent and reliable, without costing an arm and a leg. When you have a wide variety of tastes and tolerances, this place will have something most can be satisfied with.

The food is bad. Nearly every time I've gone there (out of 10 times) I've noticed cockroaches either on the table or floor. It's open 24 hours and that's the only saving grace: compared to other 24/7 "diners" the food is OK.

Food is OK I have been going here with friends since the 80's. Which brings me to the only point I have... last I checked its 2008 so time for an update to the decor/menu

The Amphora in Vienna is an institution, and richly deserves the "favorite" status conferred on it by thousands of Northern Virginians. The menu is ample --perhaps a bit too broad-- but both the traditional diner fare and the Greek specialties are very good value: prepared and served with care, at a reasonable price. The Amphora is open 24 hours, and one doesn't notice any fall-off in food or service quality if one goes there early or late.

Greek/American Diner. This place was novel (and pretty decent) 25 years ago -- but NoVA has grown up a bit since then. Could use a serious face lift -- both the menu and the decor. Best thing I can say is that it's open 24 hours. If you are desperate for a very early meal this is a the only place in the area (other than room service at the Ritz in Tysons Corner).
