Finally, a restaurant that offers REAL spicy food. None of the sprinkle-some-chilli-powder-on-top-for-indian-spicy stuff. I had the "Kuthu Parotta (veg)" which was spectacular. I also had the "Cauliflower Varuval" which was a bit understated on the masala front, but delectable nonetheless. It was great with South Indian style paranthas. The ambience is subtle; the pictures of Chettinad homes serve to bolster the authenticity of the meal!

Moved by the authentic chettinad taste. Kudos!.It feels nice to get a spicy spicy south indian food in US..Especially loved the chettinad chicken, Whenever we go to Edison. we love to eat at Aachis. Aachis team is doing a good job of bringing up the same south indian traditional taste over here. Would love to dine again.

AACHIS.. when travelled from west coast to NJ for a short trip.. made me taste WOW!! Chettinad food... am a chennaite and always prefered chettinad restaurant when I was there...was missing one in US but amazed to find one at NJ. Buffets are cheap and tastes awesome.. traditional taste, excellent service.. you ask spicy you will get it..i wnt 4 times in 14 days duration.. do check out weekend dinners..keep going AACHIS! keep it up!

In AACHIS high quality south Indian food served in feel-to-real Chettinad surroundings. Service was very attentive and pleasent. As I was not much familiar with South Indian Chettinad food, they walked me through the menu items with examples and all the items that I selected came as they were explained with the desired level of hot & spice. I rate this one of the best Authentic South Indian restaurants in New Jersey and I highly recommend others.

Aachi’s has truly succeeded in capturing the true essence of the kitchens of Chettinad! The concoctions are 200% authentic, targeting food connoisseurs and casual diners alike. This is the real deal, and not some weak apology that feigns this highly sought after regional cuisine from southern India. Kudos to Aachis for being who they are and for their exemplary hospitality and customer service!!
