In theory, this place should be excellent. However, the kitchen needs a lot of attention. For an open kitchen, this place is shameless for how dirty it looks. The cooks don't use gloves. The last time i went, I sat down to order the "best fish sammich ever". When I went up to get the food, I noticed a small wonder bread bun. It usually comes on toasted ciabatta. Even though they ran out, they decided to serve a $10 sandwhich on wonder bread.

They're not kidding about "the world's best fish sandwich." Incredibly good (even without the bacon), with perfectly cooked fish, grilled onions, and feta, and it comes with two enormous sides (one of which can be a massive portion of world-class guacamole and chips), an amazing bargain. Excellent local beers, attentive service, very happy locals--a great neighborhood joint! Don't miss it!

Excellent fish sandwish on amazing ciabatta bread. Love the funky atmosphere. This is what a New Orleans neighborhood joint should be. The BBQ is perfect - I'd rather it without the sauce. The sauce isn't my favorite. But with the flavor of the pork, it doesn't need sauce. The Cheeseburger is my son's favorite. We also love the triple bypass nachos and guacamole.
