Going to Alfio's is like walking down memory lane. It's like going to a Southern Italian restaurant in 1975. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with that. The cuisine is very straight forward and the wine list has very few selections, most in the moderate price range. The cannoli, however, is excellent. Maybe cannoli and expresso is a good way to remember the way Italian restaurants used to be.
