Nice looking restaurant. We had great service. Must go for the hibachi, especially the rib eye and the tuna. Very reasonably priced. Fun change of pace.
Very close to being perfect in all aspects. Go here for something different. Sophisticated yet informal atmosphere. This is an intimate dining experience with fascinating flavors and food combinations. We have been here twice and it is amazing that more people have not discovered this great experience.
You need a compass to find the entrance but once in, what a treat. The starters are excellent, especially the steak tartar which is unique. Entrees are well presented, but the babrbecue portions are on the small side. The short ribs are sublime.Service was fantastic, with all of the waiters keeping their eyes open and making sure that the experience was good. The sake and wine lists were short but complete. Overall a big winner
Short ribs were outstanding and decor very elegant and relaxing even if the service was seemingly lacking in thoughtfulness, care, and intelligence. And on food alone the 24 is inflated; it's more like a 22.
Bann is the best! Really tasty meat dishes and good service. It's not authenitc, as another reviewer noted, but then again, it doesn't have it be - the food is still worthwhile. Yeah, desserts are not the best. But give it a try.
