KOBE beef, need I say more??? Across the street from the theatre. After having drinks in the bar, Kobe beef for dinner, sat with UB40 for after dinner drinks. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff cater to your every whim. Not pretentious, just high quality.
They just remodeled a downstairs area, it opened Thanksgiving. I haven't seen that area, and can't wait!!!

Service was excellent and sauces dreamy -- foie gras starter a yummy indulgence of sweet and savory. Rose pedals in the toilet, though? over the top. They parade out the steaks like beauty contestants; I wonder what grows on them between trips down the runway. Fish is outstanding too. Not just a steak place.

Top notch steakhouse in downtown San Antonio. Prime showcased steaks on the tray were pricey, but the menu items are more reasonable; everything is a la carte. Wine list is pricey too for upper-end Cabs, but there are some good Pinots at reasonable prices. Service was excellent - Mo Se Yan knew his stuff and delighted in making sure you were satisfied.

This is a formal restaurant for the expense account business and hotel clientele. Prices are high however quality is delivered. Wine list is extensive and overpriced as is the menu. GREAT PRIME STEAKS especially the eclectic expensive version. The service staff is overall good however we did not appreciate the almost rude demeanor, when they were busy and under pressure, and we ordered the bananas foster tableside prepared dessert.
