The owner of the 35th St Bistro was extremely rude, condesending, and unprofessional. Instead of being professional the owner Mason was very disrespectful and treated our party poorly. I would recommend if you are a larger party and intend to have a good time with friends this is NOT your place.

There has been a change of ownership since you rated the restaurant. My most recent visit was spotty. When I asked the server to describe the duck offering, she replied "it's awesome." Well, you get the picture.

I was so excited to have Eggs Benedict and this place had such high food marks. But the food came out lukewarm...I ordered a side of truffled frites that the waitress or the cook forgot. really wanted fries to eat with yolk and hollandaise ...we ordered sausage that came out rare and cold in the middle. The waitress never even apologized for the problems. The salad was under dressed. I will say my wifes croque madame was good... but cold.

This is the place to get your brunch on after strolling through the Sunday Market in Freemont. An airy room full of fresh flowers and rustic furniture, it is staffed by helpful and attentive servers who know their menu well. You cannot go wrong with the Hollandaise Eggs or the Croque Madame. They do need to expand their coffee selections to get up to par with Seattle level expectations.

Interesting food combinations in a bright and airy setting. Food preparations done with local/sustainable product. Their spin on a celebrated Quebec street food - poutine -- is a naughty decadence made better with sweatbreads and foie gras bits, although they were a little scant on the foie gras. Accomplished wine list.
