On my first discovery I considered Vegetate a real gem. It has a nice casual, loungy look and the vegetarian menu was full of surprises. But was has happened? Dining there yesterday, I was not at all impressed with their menu - the main courses seemed as uninspiring as the the vegetarian options in any road side motel. Risotto, Polenta, Tofu and an omelette? Come on Vegetate, you can do so much better!

This place had some very tasty veg options, in a cool atmosphere. Besides the window seat looking over the loading dock of a grocery store, the decor was great, and unique when compared to traditional vegetarian restaurants. Really enjoyed the house cocktail and wine.

Creative but overpriced rice cakes, etc. Don't bother to go

The food is excellent for a vegetarian place and I'm not even a vegetarian. The portions are small, however.
