Fabulous Oysters
I am sure everyone has talked about how good the food is, what a cool place this is, and it is excellent, but can we talk about the bloody mary? This is the best bloody mary on the planet. It is a huge boozy salad, with a giant shrimp speared to the glass, and there are shreds of fresh horseradish swirling within. Sublime.
Expect to be surprised! Very original plates, in a laid-back, unpretentious setting... prices are there to remind you that quality food as a price, but definitly woth it. The place to go if you wish to wear a pair of jeans, have a serious wine list selection, and enjoy terrific food. Very tough reservation on week-end nights or in peak season.
The food is excellent although it is quite pricey, if I had to choose between Joe Beef and Garde-Manger, I would pick Garde-Manger
