Listed in 1,000 Places To See Before You Die, Toque! is worth keeping on the Bucket List. A recent tasting menu, which includes venison, rabbit and salmon, tames the game with subtle flavors and delicate textures. Tasting wines fuse well with each course. Drinks are exorbitant. Service is expected not exceptional. Staff mills around a wait station near table. Asked for wine menu twice. Floor to ceiling glass walls dominate ground floor decor.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Service, wine, and food was impeccable. Very small but inventive menu was an absolute hit. Will come back the next time we're in Montreal!
We paid as much here as at many Michelin starred restaurants in Europe; I only wish it had been half as good as the 1 stars. The chef and kitchen crew did turn our great tasting dishes, but the whole experience was not worth the impact on the wallet.
Perfectly nice French restaurant, but not worth the money.
Horrible service. Way overrated. Not worth the money.
