The Capital Grille was so nice to our group of 4 when they first opened. We were treated to free desserts and coffee. On subsequent visits, the service was less pleasant. The last time we were there - for lunch- we felt as if it was painful for the staff to serve us. I think the food was fine, but the service was so snotty that I realy don't remember the meal.

First time at this Capital Grille location, it did not disappoint. Being in Baltimore, the seafood was more plentiful on the specials and it was fresh and very well prepared. The filet and scallop special was delightful. Service was attentive witout being overpowering. The entire staff was friendly, and the decor was typical of other CP locations.

This was my first visit to the Baltimore location and it did not disappoint. Decor and service are similar to other comparable establishments (e.g., Mortons, Del Friscos) but in my opinion the Kona crusted dry aged beef is the big reason to dine here (and perhaps the stoley doley martinis). And yes, everything on the menu is extremely overpriced. But if you're worried about the bill then you went there for the wrong reason.

My honey and I visited for a romantic evening out. Nice atmosphere. Good cocktails. Appetizers were wonderful, we had chilled blue crab lumps and smoked salmon. Entrees below expectations as, even with plenty of spices and herbs, the flavor was lacking in both strip steaks that we ordered. A simple ruths chris steak defintaely has the upperhand. Desserts were fabulous....keylime and berries with sugar cream. good svc.

Menu is mostly meat items. Sides have some veggie options. Salads and appetizers very tastefully prepared with nuanced non-overpowering flavors and fresh ingredients. Items are simple but wholesome. Pricy, but you're paying for the nice atmosphere. Bottle of wine ($35) appetizer ($15) two salads ($9 each) and two main courses ($40-45 each) come out to 150-160 plus a 20% tip because the service is good; you come out to about $90/person.
