Wonderful unique tapas made the food the star of the night, and Juan our server was impeccable on a very crowded Friday night. Stay away should you have Xenophobia though as the person to your right and left will be almost intimate by the end of the meal!
Well worth a visit. Very good food, service and atmosphere. Busy by 6:30 even on a slow night. Hits: Razor clams, grilled corn. Misses: Too loud, bad Euro disco music. The churros with chocolate dessert - the chocolate has some kind of odd smoked pepper or lard that is completely off and kind of ruined my dinner.
Try the razor clams - wow. Good wine list and fun tapas leads to a great time all around. You'll end up getting to know your neighbors due to tight quarters, but the energy in the room breaks the ice. If I lived closer, I would work my way through the menu over the course of several visits and narrow it down to the all-stars. That would be a fun journey!
This is a great place for getting a drink at the bar and people watching. I've been here multiple times, due to proximity to home, but have never had a great meal here. If I could chose between tapas restaurants, I would go to Dali for the food.
Toro is the kind of restaurant that reestablishes your faith in creativity. Wonderful flavors and food. Space that is so tight you better bring your altoids.
