Yes the food is amazing (sometimes), but hey at these prices it shouldn't be spotty. Personally I think Tinto is a much better choice and a little less expansive of a space. There are far better restaurants in Philadelphia for an out of town visit and you are expecting a super meal. Buddakan or The Fountain are two such examples. This spot is sometimes great, sometimes not so good. If you want Tapas try Tinto, same owner which equals go figure???

Take advantage of the small plates to order a bit of everything. You will be sure to find something you like.

Latin gastronomy heaven! Three courses on the tasting menu means three TIMES three, so the food is more plentiful than expected. The wine pairing was a tad "skimpy," but overall , this is a serious foodies delight. Pricey but most definitely worth it.

Walked in on a beautiful early September Saturday for lunch. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The flavors were exotic, but not wonderful and the grilled items were overcooked and chewy. I had thought to treat my family to an upcoming birthday dinner, but I'm happy to spend my money elsewhere. The folks at our local suburban Persian take-out always turn out tender chicken. How can a high priced gourmet grill fail to manage this???

We put ourselves in the hands of our excellent waiter and went for the mid-priced tasting menu -- it was extraordinarily wonderful food and we had a fabulous time, would definitely go back for a special occasion despite the fact that the cost is considerably more than we're used to spending for a meal. I liked the atmosphere, too.
