First of all, entrees are $30-$35. Is this "moderate?" You decide. Nice decor, attentive service. The lobster ravioli tasted fishy. They were not tasty. The lamb shank was salty and unrefined. The best feature of this restaurant is you can bring your own wine. Otherwise, the bill would have easily been in the $75 range. A fool and his money are soon parted. We had a wonderful evening, but the food had nothing to do with it.

Great little neighbourhood French resto. Cozy (sometimes crowded), with the pleasant buzz that comes from people enjoying an evening. The food is basic French -- nothing complex or overdone, but lovely simple preparations. Recently have enjoyed a very nicely cooked lamb loin and a great duck breast . BYOB -- so plan to pick up wine on the way there. Staff have been great - very helpful to my English only-nephew and his date when they visited.

Wonderful food, and quite atmospheric, though the attitude described below was apparent during my visit too. . .I arrived at 9:45 with the restaurant packed, though one table was open--was told that the kitchen was closed. I pleaded that I'd come across town as the recommendation of Gourmet magazine, and besides, it wasn't 10p yet. They sat me, and took very good care of me--possibly the best lamb shank I've ever eaten. . .

Delightful corner bistro on a quiet residential street. Intimate, lively atmosphere with the decor a cross between Paris and vintage Montreal. Open kitchen so that you can see the busy chefs prepare your fine grilled venison.
BYOB...go to the SAQ Signature Montral to choose your bottle. Grocery store plonk would be a sacrilegious gaffe.

Food was good, although the restaurant was a bit crowded. First restaurant in my life where the maitre d' actually asked me to leave to make room for another table. (I had been there no longer than an hour-and-a-half...) In my mind this was taking the neighborhood-restaurant thing a bit far as I had just gotten my coffee!) I refused and was the brunt of a tirade that will ensure that I never return.
