AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING Best steak ever tasted, and i have been around. service is unreal, worth every penny.

When a steakhouse is located in a touristy area - it might be a tourist trap. The Porterhouse was burnt, the salmon was as dry as the desert and the rib-eye was just bad. The side dishes were tiny but edible. We never tried the dessert because it was all so expensive and disappointing - we just wanted to get out of there. The waiters try to liven up the place, but it's better to catch a Broadway show and skip dinner.

Im not the type to write a review but i feel like i have to give credit when it's due. I had a great evening at AJ Maxwells. The staff was great. The food was excellent, my wife and i had a porter house steak for 2, and some mac and cheese that was the best i ever had, steak smelled and tasted amazing! And last we were informed about the free parking deal they are offering, which just topped off the evening. i will definitly return and recommend.

Bartender could not make a Sazerac. Didn't have the first wine bottle we selected. Meat was good, not great. Server was very engaging if not particularly attentive.
