I've been to this restaurant twice. Both times, we only ordered pizza and both times, fabulous. I love the Pizza with truffle oil and heirloom tomatoes (summer). My son wanted something else so we did half my choice and the other half, his.
With a glass of Chianti, it was a great meal.
I think that as a paying customer, if the crust is burnt, you need to tell them and I am certain that they will be happy to give you another one.

We drive 310 miles from Gold Beach OR to Portland to get to Apizza Scholls. This is the only place we will go for pizza. Everything is fresh and/or homemade, beautifully presented, the crust is amazing, service is friendly. We can't say enough about how good Apizza Schools is. Salads & antipasti plates can't be beat. People line up outside before it opens to get in - it's worth the wait.
