We love Arrivederci, Rancho San Diego location. The food is awesome, especially the daily specials. We enjoy the atmosphere, the music playing in the background. The service is excellent. Its kind of funny we have taken friends here and at first they think oh wow your bringing us to a shopping center for real Italian...the first bite and they change their perception, and are amazed at the secret jewel we have found.

Don't ever eat at this restaurant. They charged me twice for the same meal. I went in to talk to the manager to correct the problem and the waiter that caused it had a smirk on his face the whole time. The manager said she would correct it, but it was never corrected. I finally after 2 weeks had to take it up with my credit card company. They obviously don't care about the customer.

The Veal Piccata was very disappointing... It's color was grey and had way too many capers.. Stick to the Arriverderci in hillcrest

Very Disappointed !!!!!!! The waiter & his helper were trying to flirt with my WIFE... He was always trying to make eye contact with HER.... His helper was very rude to me & was also trying to flirt with my wife....THEY APPEARED TO BE BUZZED..... I WAS a customer for quite a while... NO MORE. I do no go to a restaurant for this kind of treatment. This is not the only time they tried to flirt with her. I blew it off a few times. IM DONE

Though it clearly doesn't have the best Italian food in San Diego, it's one of my very favorite Italian restaurants. A great place to sit outside and people watch the Hillcrest throngs walking by on weekends, and a good selection of Italian wines. Try the fried calamari appetizer and any of the daily pastas a your best bet.
