An interesting selction of different foods from a restaurant that likes to experiment with new dishes. You'll go more than just once.

Agraria will supply conversation for weeks to come. The "American Crafted Cured Meats, Artisan Cheeses and Preserved Condiments" was right out of a mid-level airport bistro: stale cheese, dry meats, and not enough of either. The La Quercia Prosciutto Pizza (Fig Jam, Crescenza and Blue Cheese) was overwhelmingly sweet: the creation of an ambitious, imaginative, 14 year-old chef without access to a grocer. Ingredients alone do not make the meal.

What a dissapointment with a cool concept. I was so excited to go to a resturaunt who helps local farmers. The service was the worst I have had in a long time and the resturaunt was not that busy - we ate around 9pm on a Saturday. The food sounded phenominal on the menu but I felt that I could have cooked a better meal at home. If you want a nice view just go over to Tony and Joe's. Suprisingly that tourist attraction is better.

I'd love to love this place which was once great but now is far from it. Food can be good but is often ineptly prepared (even with good ingredients) with salads an abominable mess and entrees slopped down with no regard for estetics. Maybe it was just the evening but nothing went right and seeing two chefs decked out in their whites but with major attidudes happy to ignore clients and openly emote to colleagues shows the place is a train wreck.

A "farmer family owned" restaurant near the Kennedy Center, the food is supplied by local farmers, "from our fields...to your table." Expecially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes appetizer (pando & cornmeal crust, goat cheese flan, basil pesto), the butternut squash ravoli (sage brown butter sauce, red onion, tomatoes) and the sword fish entree. Beautiful waterfront setting, sit inside or out. Excellent service, full bar, nice wine list. Go!
