Family style service in stylish Napa Valley works well at this Thomas Keller creation right down the block from The French Laundry. Food is served in sizable portions, and is prepared so that all the flavors are there to be savored - which is real important when you are serving one item menu per course per evening. This place is pricey, but works.

Having dined at Per Se in new York City, this is The French Laundry for the masses. The food is imaginative and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The wine list is a little on the high end side for my taste. Make sure you know what the single entree is for the day you are going, so it is something that you are in the mood for.

We dined on a Sunday. The daily fixe was their signature chicken and waffles. The food was great but was hoping for something a bit more unique and out of box. Although good my expectations were not met with the food. The service was great it was seamless throughout the dining experience.

Food is fresh and prepared beautifully. Wine by the glass is 3 ounces in a juice glass and ridiculously overpriced.

Tattooed, jeans-clad servers bring essentially the one thing available that night. Food was well-prepared but you'd think at least the kitchen would want to show off a bit more. Pound cake for dessert. Blah.
