The recipes are nothing new or inventive -- straight from a culinary text book. Mike and Anne's food may have passed with flying colors 15 years ago, but not today. You can find most of this food at any chain restaurant. The new bar is a nice addition although the prices for drinks are a bit steep. The patio is the only thing going for this restaurant. The service is spotty but the decor is relaxing and welcoming.

Great place for lunch although surrounded by the San Marino ladies who lunch. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Some fine offerings, uneven service. Often the appetizers are the best part of the meal. When in doubt, graze.

love hanging out on the patio. South Pasadena is so uncrowded and great place to hang
