My first visit to Anthony's, quite by accident, was during a restaurant week special. Three of us managed a solid sampling of the four course offerings and everything ranged from tasty to nearly superb. The Pork Ragu appetizer was a particular standout, perhaps the best dish of the evening. The Wild Mushroom Tart was quite special, my Veal Calvados did not disappoint, and the dessert sampler was "to die for." Service was attentive. Go here!

I just wasn't very impressed with any aspect of this restaurant.The food just wasn't very tasty and the service left a lot to be desired.We won't be returning any time soon.

On the plus side - nice roasted pepper appetizer and a really generous Caesar salad with an exceptional dressing. On the down side - tomato and mozzarella salad. The dressing is very oily. On the UGGH side - Branzino putanesca should be served in a house of ill repute. The fish was fried to the point that it could be compared to eating fish bones. The gnocchi with sausage was overcooked and the gnocchi were too dense.

We had a great dinner at a table out front on the sidewalk that was atmospherically delightful. The seafood specials were very fresh, delicious and very generous. Don't know what the inside was like because we never went inside, but the service was friendly and quite pleasant. We'll definitely go back.
