I was a little leary of Ahimsa b/c it was empty a lot when it first opened & I'm not vegan. I am so happy that I ventured in. My heavy meat eating friend & I both relished our meals. We now have a tradition to go @ least once/month, and everytime I have guests, I bring them by. I still have some friends who think vegan/good/filling are oxymorons, but its their loss. The food is divine and Ahimsa is now in my top 3 restaurants of NH.

A little but pricey, but really great vegan food- it's not an oxymoron

Nice to have an alternative for vegans and non "cooked" foods

Delish, unique veggie dishes that you can't make at home. A real treat - their mushroom dishes are superb! and their ice creams made from nuts not milk are a taste of heaven. Small portions and pricey, so you won't likely be full with just an entree. But a worthy meal out.
