Hip, refreshing decor, nice bar. Service could be better. Some fair deals on wine list but generally high. Food _way_ expensive. Like, you could feed 4 people USDA prime tenderloin off your grill for the price of that veal chop. It's a great addition to Fredericksburg, but needs to be more price conscious.

This is not the kind of restaurant you expect in Fredericksburg, Texas. This place would fit right in Dallas, Houston or even San Francisco. Everything we ate was outstanding. Sushi was as good as you will find anywhere. Entrees slightly overdone. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. Service was fine but helpers could use a lot of training. Atmosphere was cool and inviting. This place way exceeded my expectations. Smiley face and a star.

Wow! Superb ingredients handled simply and well. Our salads, soups, and steaks were superb. The veal chop was very good tho a step down. The savory bread pudding that came with it was divine! The decor is shockingly contemporary and NOT "hill country". Wine prices are only about twice retail and help compensate for high food prices. Service is a bit strained and slow. An incorrect order (fish for veal) took 15 minutes to correct. We will go back!

Wonderful restaurant. Moved to their new location on San Antonio street. Amazing to dine at such an elegant, cosmopolitan restaurant in such a small hill county town. Thought I was in San Francisco. Food was excellent. Very fresh. Service was first rate. Desserts were very good although on the small side.
