City Barbeque is the real deal for barbeque in Columbus. The meats have a good but not overwelming smoke flavor w/a smoke ring from real wood smoke. They are well spiced and do not need the sauces that are available on the tables. The side dishes are good and the greens are the only place in town that I have found real southern greens. Try the corn pudding you'll be pleased you did. BTW I don't work or own any part of City Barbeque.

This is very good barbeque, especially for Central Ohio. You'll think you're in the Carolinas...
Very casual atmosphere, counter service only. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Had heard great reviews but the brisket I ordered was full of grizzle and could not even chew to swallow. The beans are the best I have had though

Upper Arlington - Definitely the best barbeque in Columbus. Fantastic sauce. Try the baked beans with brisket mixed in.

The inside looked as though the Hatfiels and McCoy's came to decorate the Henderson Road location. The ribs are fall off the bone finger licking good. One of the best point was when I was allowed to substitute an item in the large bbq sampler so I could have more of what I like.
