Wonderful experience! Though the main part of the restuarant was loud, our table was in the back room and it was easy to converse. The food was thoughtful and delicious-- pasta was so fresh and delicate, like true thought went into every bite!

Restaurant not very good at dealing with folks with food allergies. They aren't very flexible in this regard. If you have any severe allergies, think twice about coming here.

Osteria is Philadelphia's best restaurant. I watched Chef Michaud's attention to detail while dining alone for two hours at the tasting bar this fall . The intense flavors coaxed out of my platter of locally grown fire roasted vegetables were inspired. My pureed beet and goat cheese filled pasta was also remarkable. My waitress was knowledgeable and convivial. Inviting surroundings add to a vague sense of Italy in Philly. Bravo! Bene!

I can't say enough good things about this place, except perhaps the noise factor. Once the crowd arrived, it became difficult to hear yourself think. The complex but not overpowering flavors were simply sublime. Cape May Salt Oysters were just wonderful, as was everything else we ordered. I don't know who waited on Law000, but our waiter was fantastic. Came by at the right times and gave us good recommendations. Osteria is one of my top ten.

Very disappointing. Menu description sounds great but almost all the dishes we had did not deliver. Our server was a total downer, Very apparent we were putting her out by eating there. Vetri has got to get ih there and do damage control. Everything we ordered was lacking except grilled octopus which was good. Nice winelist-cozy atmosphere but not good for anyone with a slight hearing issue. Again, food was very disappointing.
